The £15 deposit
Every ValetBook booking is secured with a £15 deposit paid via Stripe. This deposit covers the cost of arranging your booking with a local valeter.
Cancelling your booking
- More than 48 hours before your booking: full £15 refund. Just email us at retreatrentals25@gmail.com with your booking details.
- Within 48 hours of your booking: deposit is non-refundable, as the valeter has reserved the slot.
- Rescheduling: if you need to move to a different date, we'll try to accommodate you and carry the deposit over free of charge, subject to valeter availability.
If we can't fulfil your booking
If no valeter is available for your requested date and area, or we cancel for any other reason on our side, you receive a full £15 refund.
Not happy with the service
The valeting work is carried out by an independent valeter. If you're unhappy with the work on the day, please raise it immediately with the valeter so it can be put right. If you can't reach a resolution, email us at retreatrentals25@gmail.com within 48 hours with photos and we'll help mediate.
Refund timing
Refunds are processed via Stripe back to the original card and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Statutory rights
This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
